He always said he didnt need a girl
that football was all he needed in the world
He always said that he would never fall in love
because it was to much drama and it wouldnt be enough
He always said a day watching the game was better then anything
that hanging with friends was all that he would ever need
He use to say that he didnt need a girl
until she walked through the door and she became his world
He always use to say that he would never fall in love
but the first time they kissed it was a feeling from above
He use to think a day watching the game was better than anything
but now just to be with her he will blow off everything
He said he wanted to travel and party
being all wild, free, and childly
He didn't like coming face to face with a child crying
because he felt like they were crying over nothing
He didnt want have to worry about someone elses life in his hands
to lose that someone would be way more than he could stand
He always said he didnt want to have children
that she was all he needed
He said he wanted to travel and party
now he finds himself lost in a trance staring at his beautiful baby
He use to cringe over a childs crys
now he rushes to the crys and is right there by her side
He didnt want to have to worry about taking in his own hands soomeone else's life
now he would give his last breathe to give her dreams and make her future bright
He always said he didnt want to have children and she was all he would need
he now loves his little girl more than anyne could every see

Very warm and beautiful poem. Awe inspiring and loved the poem. It does make one think, about love and the gift of life. You do have a couple of misspelled words.. one on line 25, should be someone and on line 30, should be anyone. Other than that, this is a wonderful poem. Good luck in the contest. Take care and have a great day.
