I'll tell you about a girl
a girl I know
and her name is Lindsey.

Her life is filled with
so many twists and turns
that she never knows where she's going
or where she'll end up.
She lives on a never ending rollar coaster.

She has to write to keep herself sane
writing about how she feels today
and predicting how she'll feel tomorrow or
the day after and so forth.
Poems that speak the truth about her life.

She seeks to find answers to many questions
and find nothing but more questions
but she never gives up
she figthts in what she believes in
even though she believes in so little.

She fails to find the true meaning of love
for love has been ascrew for her.
Her heart isn't hole and she's still searching
for that missing piece.

She doesn't give up on what she really wants
and all she wants is to be loved and cared for.


She might be happy one day
but come tomorrow or later that day
she'll have tears in her eyes
for she can't hide the pain any longer.

She never knows how she really feels
emotions seem to fix and blend all together
leaving her confused and lost.

She's an open person
and will speak her mind when needed.
Even though she acts before she thinks
she only knows she's just an unperfect human.

She spends too much time thinking
and underestimating herself
but she understands she won't ever be perfect.

She gives hole hearted advice
that has helped so many people
and fail to follow it herself.

If you don't like her
that's quite okay
because she never really cared
what others think of her.
