Never give up

Life was boring, Seemed like no end in reach.
I pack my bags and jet off too Bondi Beach.

Felt like heaven, never anticipated it be so much fun,
Stayed out all night and walked home in the sun.

Life is special, I'm living the dream.
Couldn't get any better or so it did seem.

A little bar on the corner of town.
I couldn't foresee it would turn it all upside down.

A sunny day soaking in all the heat.
Time for the bar I needed to eat.

Am i dreaming? Is it a mirage i feel?
An angel so beautiful, can this be real?

She walks towards me, my order she seek.
My whole body tinkled, I could hardly speak.

I caught my breath and asked is she free?
She kindly smiled back, sorry not me.

Weeks go by the angels still here.
One more try if i can get over this fear.

What the hell its worth a try.
Do you fancy a drink i nearly did sigh.

Knocked back again :-( but no way broken.
A girl so beautiful is near always spoken.

I thought this through, Its time to give in.
An angel from above I never could win.

Its time to leave, my lust is too strong.
I went for the door, she asks me whats wrong?

I hopes are weak they are starting to fall.
Then out of the blue on the phone she call.

Hi Mister, Fancy doing drinks today.
No hesitation I will even pay :-)

I had her at last down by my side.
Feeling or words i cant begin to describe.

I looked in her eyes and said what I see.
She smiled back and gently kissed me.

This was it, not a word of a lie.
Strike me right down now I'm ready to die.

Nearly a year later, never a day apart.
This is true love straight from the heart.
