Gophers snake soup

Once there was three Gophers
named Mandy, Lenny and  Claire
that lived in a hole,

they were happy until a mean
snake named Noah came along &
tried to make them leave.

The Gophers were really sad every day !

One day they talked to Doctor Phil the Lizard &
he told them to not let that snake
push them around.

They agreed that the mean
old snake would not win !

The snake came back &
pushed his way into their hole
but he got stuck !

Mandy had just started a nice fire
because she was putting on soup.

Then she heard a noise from behind her
it was nasty Noah trying
to get unstuck from the hole

so he could push her around some more
but she had enough of him
she grabbed the ladle & hit the snake over &
over again until he did not move.

Then she pulled him
from the hole &
threw him in their soup.

When her brothers came home
she told them what happened
they were proud of her
for not backing down
from the bully snake,

then they all
sat in front of the fire &
ate the good soup!
