Coconuts

Coconuts are good
Even though they're very bad
While protected on the outside
By a fibrous, supporting structure
Inside they're really quite soft

On the outside they can look very appealing
Even if they're covered up and shaded
Though that doesn't mean they aren't good to see
Hanging up there to be taken
By anyone daring and lucky enough

To touch the flesh can be quite fun and yummy too
Though inside if you dare to find, is also milk.
They stare at you with their little eyes
Watchful against those who may try
And try to take them away!

So if you try to get one
Or maybe even two
Beware, for they are guarded
And can be hard to get to

But it is often worth it
'Cause coconuts are good!
