The Cowards Way Out

X amount of sighs later I have finally decided to move on.
Tired of waiting
and wanting
and being unsatisfied,
of hanging on the phone for a call I'll never get,
of people asking how you are and not being able to answer,
of caring so much and not getting anything back.

You were good, but I am better
Maybe the next time we meet I'll be able to look you in the face
and know that I've forgiven you,
but I'm not there yet
and don't want to be.

Good-bye Milo
