feelings, feelings
where do they come from
where do the originate?
our beliefs, good or bad
about ourselves, about another;
feelings and sensations, we generate
the heart follows the mind
the mind chases the heart
the weaving thread from heart to head
dives into the subconscious and surfaces again
with past forgotten thoughts and emotions
our long lost attitudes and devotions
derived from both the ego and the soul
the heart senses vibes of self and others
the mind reacts to the sensations
the mind taps into the consensus
it’s all intricately tied together
reverberating in the hidden realms
of mind and emotions
sensing is believing
believing creates what is sensed
the emotional-mental circle is complete
the mind chases the heart
the heart follows the mind
where do they come from
where do the originate?
our beliefs, good or bad
about ourselves, about another;
feelings and sensations, we generate
the heart follows the mind
the mind chases the heart
the weaving thread from heart to head
dives into the subconscious and surfaces again
with past forgotten thoughts and emotions
our long lost attitudes and devotions
derived from both the ego and the soul
the heart senses vibes of self and others
the mind reacts to the sensations
the mind taps into the consensus
it’s all intricately tied together
reverberating in the hidden realms
of mind and emotions
sensing is believing
believing creates what is sensed
the emotional-mental circle is complete
the mind chases the heart
the heart follows the mind

Profound and wise...
Stimulating Ping-Pong of words on the poetic table... "Mind-Heart Circle" plays the facts and sings the deeds. An inspiring composition.
In respect and admiration,

I agree it is a never ending cycle; the heart and the mind, I often ponder the relationship between these two, using them in poems, often conversing with one another, arguing...
Frankly, I don't know where feelings originate or rather what has given us the capacity to feel, do we come into the world with them?
Thought provoking my friend

the cycle
we are so led, following and leading and following
the mind chases the heart
the heart follows the mind
we never stop the cycle long enough to see
very well done Bonita
God bless you my friend...
