It's something you don't think about.

You never do.

It's something you can't think about.

You never will.

It's something that just happens.

You do it.

A small spasm.

It's happening.

It's something you don't think about.

But now you do.

It's something you can't think about.

But now you will.

It's something that just happens.

But it doesn't.

In a moment of sadness.

You think about...
What do you think about?

You think about...

This spasm.
This feeling...afterward.

The endorphins rush through your body.

It's something you now think about.

As it happens.

It's something you can think about.

And you do.

It's something that will happen.

And it is.

Smile, My Love.

Author notes

This is basically how your mind and body reacts when you smile. As it is happening you don't recognize it, when you're down, you feel "I will never smile again". It's not supposed to be sad.

    I like this one.

Wow babe, I agree with the people bellow me. At first I didn't realize what it was about until I got to the end and when I did, I found my self with a smile on my face. I like it.

That's the psychological reaction to the knowledge behind an action done without thought. One cannot recognize what they do until it is pointed out. I was told that my brow crinkles as does my nose when I'm angry. A wolfish reaction. I never noticed until it was pointed out. I started noticing a lot of other things afterwords.
    I like this.
    It has a similar reaction.
Perhaps others will be effected similarly.

This isn't sad, at first I was wondering what this was about, and then I started to read it; getting pulled in with each line. It made me picture my hand twitching as I read it. It is a great poem that is why I am going to add you to my favs. so I can read more of your work.
