I love the progression of art and thought here poet. I am finding your work to be quite fascinating and fun to explore. Where have I been? I see many of my friends on your pages. I would like to send a creation of my own to you though the IM's here. I am fixated with "eyes" of late. LOL

Your work is not only creative but educational. Thank you for the journey. I am wide awake now.

    "INNIVATION celebrated"

Well this production of yours sure fits the bill for the contest and once again demonstrates your ability to respond! I wondered about the misspell in one of your earlier mentions of the word innovation but then maybe that is the typo-graphy that is being sought after. INN-I-Vation celebrated almost resembles a vacation with a twist. or perhaps it is an inverted belly button (I always had an 'outy' growing up but now that I have a little extra around the midsection it finally turned in-ward! I guess that I'm just trying to avoid addressing your talent for displaying this work of art and nit picking for fun like the rest of that "drink moxie and see God" group that traipses about. Well shared my lady! jy

thank you for making me laugh 'waydownuponjoy'

I, too, wondered about the INNIVATION (I actually googled to see if it was a word!) I see it has been corrected now. RFLOL about the inny outy belly-button. Thank you for dropping by to comment. I came back to re-read 'emBOLDened' because I just had an unexpected entry ('A New Leaf') that has me divided between 1st and 2nd

that wasn't supposed to happen, lol!

      Oh, for Heaven's sake!
Didn't mean it to be a play on words--or letters--
      the bottom one is right--
Oh, I know--last thing before I turned in I moved
that line---retyped it, for it had been below the graphic
and didn't show the two rhyming lines in proximity.
Hah! Blurry eyes by then and didn't even notice it!
Ah, those last minute quickie changes.

      Thank you, joy.

      Come on--join the
      Moxie group---for you have read
more Yem than many in the group!

Everything can be really seen when it is emBOLDened...whether it is one voice someone makes that starts a trend or like the drawings above....can be any sculpture...design....this poem proves it, though it shows how anything can stand out if paid attention to in full and analyzed!!

As in the FIFTH QUARTER analysis, David?

      The trend setting, interesting.
Seems to have found a place in
      your pieces, also. And the
      emBOLDened theme!!!

    I am truly honoured

that you stopped in to grace my contest with your graphic art and literature which is absolutely demonstrative of what this contest is all about - more than I ever expected.

Thank you for introducing others (commenters) here also, so that I can add even more genius to my network. I am learning so much from this community. Bless.

I loved the whole ride you give through this. You capture, perfectly, with your images and type and also your thoughts about the man himself re pop, iconic art. I like the repetition or refrain.

    Fantastic!

      Mirandah, my eyes opened wide
in delight when I came across
      your "typography." As you
might guess, I do love letters
      and words and lines---all the
      elements of art and communication!

You will find my commenters to be
a most diverse assortment of witty,
      intelligent, ingenious, creative,
      dedicated to causes and principles,
      crazy, far out, opinionated, kind,
      appreciative, loyal, interesting,
      superlative commenters and outstanding
      writers! Our conversation often goes
far afield as thoughts are exchanged.

I know you will find some of us
      knocking on your "door."

The "thinking woman was created for
"I Do but Dare" but seemed to fit
right in here, since she wears
      words in her head!

Thank you for organziing your most
      interesting contest!

    fed upon celebrity

That pretty much        sums up my         thoughts of Warhol.          That he was celebrity         generated, the              remora of the art world.

I like bigperms idea...the Moxie bottle like the Campbell soup can!

    A unique perspec

    tive

    A

    look

    at a

    man

    that to me was

    a sum of the elite

    he catered

    to.

    Look at me

Maybe it's MOXIE that I need.
First, a week ago, the DELL wiped cleam,
then the WATER HEATER leaking it's whole load
of hot water on the basement floor on Friday,
and in the midst of trying to line up the Moxies,
      the INTERNET goes out!!!!!

The Moxie can repeated--that's why I chose the topic
but then I had this black and white vision and couldn't
bring myself to take the color out of the can.
And bigperm and pix were chatting contest in Moxieland,
so I thought I'd save the can for that. You know I can
hardly stop with one of anything. Oh, multiple Yem's.
      Hmmmmmmmm!

      SEPARATING
      the man from the concept
      SEEING
      for the pure enjoyment
      MANIFESTING

      MOTIVATING
      Yem to be satirically clever---
now isn't that worth putting up with Warhol?

      ELEVATING
commercial products to the art pedestal
could be looked at in the same incredulous manner
as many questioners viewed the IMPRESSIONISTS' daubs,
SEURAT'S pinpoint dots, PICASSO and BRAQUES' cubistic views,
POLLACK'S drips and trails of paint...

Yem and satire, as iconic as Yem and MOXIE.
Now wasn't that fun? May not be Yemish preferred style,
but fun to see what else on can find at the bottom of the WELL!!!

THANK YOU, YEM for the fun effort!!!

I love your new Warhol display. The poem's repetition really packs an ambient atmosphere for images to come. What no Moxie bottle like the Campbells can?

Coming soon---probably for the Moxie contest.
Moxie orange can cannot be disrespected by
turning it gray---and I wanted to keep
the black and white theme in the piece!
Thank you for starting the thread and

      The "thought" was being challenged
by Photobucket every step of the way,
as there some overlaying there, also!!

      But "the thinking woman" wanted
her moment to shine in multiples
just like Marilyn!!! And ART always
wants to work its way onto the scene!

      Thank you, Fairstix!
