More Than Just Yous

Here we go again,
never ending cycle,
you'd think it would get easier,
but it hurts all the same.

I dont regret saying no,
but you should regret what you said.
Do you feel the least bit guilty?
Does this phase you at all?

Sitting in my car,
you lied to my face,
said it wasn't about that,
said you didn't care at all.
Stop lying,
It's all you care about.

Sex.
Drugs.
Thats what your life is about.
You won't have it any other way.

It kills me to know that I fell for you,
fell for your stupid games,
your stupid smile.
You almost brought me down,
tore me apart.
It's what you were planning all along.

It hurts me because I had faith in you,
I believed in you,
I thought that you were good,
why does it seem like I'm always so wrong?

Just another day,
just another stab at my heart,
hopefully someday things will be different,
hopefully the world is filled with more than just yous.

    I love the opening stanza, and
    "It hurts me because I had faith in you,
    I believed in you,
    I thought that you were good,
    why does it seem like I'm always so wrong?"
    but they're all really great. this poem is fabulous, and it's all so true. i can really relate to it. you are such a talented writer! great job! (:

    Sometimes the hardest part is finding out that someone you really, believed and hoped could be good..turned out to be something else.
    This is unsurprisingly, a meaningful, beautiful write.
    "Hopefully someday things will be different, hopefully the would is filled with more than just yours"
    That, is a powerful part right there <3
    I loved it, and you are as well, a truely gifted writer.
