Endless Centuries wandering
I alone, slave of my own mistakes
I'm tied by chains
That neither time can break
They forged by my own stupidity
There's no freedom for me
Move away before she hurts you
My destiny is sealed
There's no place for love

A blow of fresh air in this blazing hell
The light to my eternal darkness
You don't surrender but insist
What is it you want of me?
I'll not injure you too

A trick, a deceit of destiny
You leave me to see her
Then snatch her away from me later

Light to my darkness
You gave to me the meaning of love
Broke my chains
Then gave me freedom

Now!
You teach me to love again

Broken from these chains

Author notes

In the little video of Shine for Ash and Tory there are words written when the pictures flash through, but it didn't make sense. So re-wrote it out again so it could. Enjoy

    This caught my eye as it had Tory in the title and that's my love's name so I just had to come and have a look-see. Nicely dark but with a feeling of hope at the end, sounds all too familiar to me at this point. Well done... Scott
