a pang of longing crosses her eyes.

he is distracted by thoughts of fame and wonder.
he is distracted and she stands near, hoping he'll see her.
her mangled heart beneath a reconstructed body is
ever so fragile.
she can pull herself apart,
she doesn't have the will to pull herself back.
he sees, he knows.
she has waited so long for him to see.
they are love.
they are entwined within each other's grasp.
they are love.
