I remember when dad gave me teddy bears after business trips, an apology for being gone. I forgave him for a simple hotel gift-shop item; because I knew he loved me and would never leave.
--
Monday, my boyfriend gave me another teddy, apologizing for his weekend-drunk mistakes. He thinks I’ll forgive him, for a teddy bear stuffed with lies and bow-tied with broken promises of I’llNeverDoItAgains. He says he loves me, that he’ll never leave;
because he forgot to stuff that inside the teddy bear, too.

SAD, SO SAD!!!!
Sadly people buy with money gifts to placate ones hurt and sorrow when all they need do is be honest and loving . When will people learn that money can't buy love.
