Eternity's End

A smile so sweet
A face so pure
Hair so neat
With dimples galore

A rippling smirk
Upon his face
Gave some an irk
But he kept his place

Outside she glows
Content and care-free
But inside she knows
She's soon not to be

Thin as bones
Darker than freight
Eyes of cyclones
Tearing through the night

Love she did claim
Coursing her heart
In truth, a parlor game
Unrequited from the start

He, Eternity’s end
Done skirting around
Heinous apprehend
Terminated, unbound.

The final slap
The last intake of breath
She falls slowly, as to nap
In a form known as Death
