It was a bitter cold day
I acted brave Holly said
going out in the snow storm
to save baby chicks
Everything is white
and I am freezeing
I got the birds settled in
for the night
On awakening
to the bright sun light
It was very beautiful out side
in the winter wonderland
I was pretty agreeable
when Holly was up to something
then we went sledding
It was very cool
and breezy sliding down the bumpy hills
Holly ran into a tree
and we found out later
she has a broken knee
