You told me once
that you thought I was cold.
I was hurting then.
terrified of knowing that
you didn't want me. So I shut down.
And you never tried to
jump-start me again.
You let me go, discarded me,
like so many before.
How is it that you
fly through one girl then another,
always searching in the wrong places
for the warmth you need to melt?
The problem is, they are all
frozen too. Frozen in the act of
fucking up their lives.
So you ran away. You ran away from
the pain, and stumbled into the wide,
lonely world. You abandoned me.
In reality, you're far colder than I could ever be.

The f word sometimes enforces the emotion that is needed for the write, so I'm glad you used it. Not too many will do that. Abandonment is one of the harshest things to feel. You did a great job putting your emotions into this piece. Thank you so much for entering.

I doubt....
...that you will even remember his name in five years' time. There are six billion people in the world, half male. You somehow stumbled into this bloke, what are the odds that he realy is the ONE? Come on, you have been reading your Descartes, use your reason.
as a poem, it is good because of your fury/passion or whatever.
Do stop cutting yourself. You have the world before you. Good luck.
