Lavender sheets of dusk seem to fall all around me,
And the sun’s mirages seem to sink inside the sky
As sleeping galaxies touch my eyes
Like ants in the sugar
And these roses are incandescent
As I drew my last glimpse
I’ll paint my own asylum
To get myself closer to him
Traipsing through gentle shades of shallow waters
With rose petals falling down to these restless nights
And I can feel her crying as I know I’m dying
Dying just to be closer to him once again
And these roses are incandescent
As I drew my last glimpse
I’ll taint my own asylum
To get myself closer to him
