The Royal House...

Drink not! If drink be not the libations of my mouth.
Sleep not upon the Down of Night, if Sight see not
The Crown of Light around my Heart. If drink be naught
But sultry word, let not Your ear hear of suchly thought.

As arcing Moon bends to Praise and bow her Golden wreath
To sheath Love's canticle across mystery's ancient, Now;
We'll dream Blue Willow Bridge to span Eternities ~~
Endow twin-bliss with velvet dew upon Your lotus brow.

O sing Your Song of Timbrel spilled from pen and quill ~~
'Till trill of Nightingale shall thrill my Heart to still;
O that I may see the Dawn as Gold and Silvered braid ~~
Brush stroke Thy liquid balm like sweet Jewels to be in laid.

Oh, precious gem of the king's crown! You blind binding His Mind;
O Subtle hint of Flowered vine to tempt His tongue with Passion's wine.
Desires do not set time to taste the Branch of forbidden Mint...
Glorious dream, holy-Eye, Lovers' scheme: whole loved be Thou Mine!

    Wow..All I can say is you have a zest for life, and have expressed your creative enthusiasm in such lyrical power and power of words and imagery.
    From beginning to end you strike the heart's strings within us and carry us with your muse right to the end! Magnificent penning!

    Eternally applausable.

    This author must tell us how to commute to the holy Assembly of the MUSES. The way she writes, I can't be wrong to think that she sees all the MUSES everyday. CAN I? (Smiles)

    I am certain of one thing: This composition, "The Royal House..." works out like a memory striking tool. It puts the reader in the poem, then stages it up; makes the reader be a protagonist and an audient.

    I have enjoyed the reading of this classic-modern poem in this Casttle Poetry, royally titled, "The Royal House..."

    Much gratitude to the author of "The Royal House..." for showing us how to write a modern classical poetic collector's piece.

    In respect and admiration,

    Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU
