Dear Wilda,
Please read this through before saying I am not old enough to understand
the hurt you are feeling. It may have had longer to develop in your life than mine, but rest assured I can identify with your pain.
My heart suffers for you today as I sit and think of yesterday when your teardrops were as diamonds falling from beautiful lavender eyes meant for smiling and glowing. If I can find a way to lessen your load of sadness I will gladly do so. Please don’t feel you are alone because I am here for you from this point on through life. I will be your rock in the storm-laden trials. I will relish the time to come when I will begin to see rainbows in your eyes once again from where the raining tears have dissipated.
Feel like your burdens have been halved, for I will bear what I can for you. Know I am here and will take your hand in friendship and be a refuge in any storm that comes your way. No more will you have to feel alone for you have a friend. Reach out and take my hands. I swear it will lighten your load and your mood.
In true friendship,
Sharon

Wow this is wonderfully deep

I love the way its not really a poem, yet it was wonderfully poetic. Lovely flow, and explores the notion of friendship well
Well done and thank you for entering
