Star lights that shines so bright,
I place my wish upon thee tonight.
I wish my love could feel again in his heart,
The kind of love we shared from the very start.
I'll send my thoughts across you stary skies,
Praying he'll remember as he gazes in the campfire light.
He says he loves me but he cant let it show,
because of the hurt I've caused he cant let it go.
A wall he has built around his heart,
closing me out and driving us apart.
I want us to be fully in love again,
like the very first day I took his hand.
I need his love and his hand to hold,
I want to be with him as we grow old.
He is the only one that I want with all my heart,
and without him my whole world will fall apart.

I wrote this along time ago when I was with my first husband and we were going thru some troubling times.We were married for 14 years but it didnt last and we have both moved on in our lives and we are both better for it now. He is the father of 4 of my children and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
