Autumn trees embracing my roving eyes
But, they are not the only sights that I see.
I see cornfields that appear more like dried-up tall grasses in some of the glens.
The leaves grasping on the trees that it once enjoyed its company in the summer
And, the breeze once was a desired cool breeze in the summer.
The leaves choose to change its color in hopes their change is desired for their trees.
It becomes its final fling before the trees will be getting a desired white blanket of snow.
The breeze might be the same cool breeze as in the hot summer days
But, it is embracing its surroundings more like a shy child with their mother.
I know these visions will not last as long as I desire
But, it’s only a precursor for the winter wonderland that would be shared with warm company.
