In a perfect world
there would be no pain
no sorrow, no loss
only love to gain
A child would never be hungry
they would never know abuse
the elderly would not be forgotten
they can still live life as they choose
There would be no war
no killings, no hate
no reason to give up on life
no longer a need for a police state
The great spirit would smile down on us all
to know we are finally united as one
and we could forever stand tall
