Exhaustion sets in once again
Hunger lays aside
Blood drips from your arms
Your screams bury deep inside
Hot tears fall from your eyes
Lips tremble in fear
Whispers flood your mind
Your death creeps near
Dreams settle in for another night
Of bleeding and lying
The rain falls from the heavens
And you wonder if the sky is crying
Beautiful sharp nails rip into flesh
Your little hands fisted and curled
And you think to yourself
What a wonderful world
