belleza es el cuerpo sereno (beauty is the composed body)

tu respiración es el mar de fondo,
un hinchazón del pecho.
tu latido templado,
la síncopa el mundo reconoce
en su propio corazón pedregoso.

your breath is the swell of sea,
an inflammation of chest.
your warm/calm beat,
the syncopation the world recognizes
in its own rocky heart.

Beauty seems to translate well in any language... yeah, I started reading and got hooked! lol Even if I had no idea what it said, I like the Spanish part... it is like those astounding Italian operas that can make me cry even though I haven't a clue what is going on! heh...

Tranquil, yet, something is beneath this surface...

Loved that word, syncopation. I don't know what it means. I am not even sure if I want to look it up. I just love the sound of it here. Is that bad?

ooh rocky heart. those two words right next to each other are fabulous. rocky is such a great adjective to convey unstableness. yea. and i love the warm/calm and the slash between the two.

    fantastico.
