A Winter Night

Candle light and violins,
bub'ling waters rendezvous
on a winter night of sparkle,
snowflakes all surround

Two flighty souls, a song played,
lost in time’s tango beat.
Eyes toast, words lock, drinks drained,
time for magic to spill.

A toasting to the season,
softly caressing lips;
the scent of wine
warms the scent of seduction
