So the story begins,
You think youve won,
Your happier than ever,
But you know it wont last,
You can see it on their faces,
BETRAYAL,
You know its coming but,
You refuse to stop it,
Just watch it happen,
And when it does,
It hits you like a ton of bricks,
BETRAYAL,
It gets hard to breath,
You feel the need to leave,
In the cold,
In the rain,
Past the young,
Past the old,
BETRAYAL,
Stabbed in the back again,
I stumble through this life,
Faking a smile to keep you quiet,
No one knowing my misery,
They see that fake smile and buy it,
BETRAYAL,
Finally i can walk no more,
I fall faceless, cold and alone,
Slowly becoming hard like stone,
Watching the rain fall,
And my breath slowly fading,
So let me end this story,
There is no happy ending,
All there is is BETRAYAL!

very raw emotions here, not thats a bad things...there is a lot of telling here and not much showing.... I would ask your friend to try and incorproate some content that can lead the reader to understand and feel this betrayal that the writer is speaking of....
