Winters weight

A dozen shards of glass dripped from the fountain to my feet,
Saphire gems that held my heart seizing it like concrete

A thousand starlit screams, reached down from their darkest night,
Echoing for eternity, dancing to their own symphony of light.

I prayed the ocean would fall from that heavens hold,
Cover me with its darkness, and wrap me in its cold.

As brilliant amber, gold, crimson and rust,
tumbled down, falling towards the earths plentiful bust,

Please tell me what you think
