God does what he says he's going to do
The only one to doubt is you
He keeps his promises no matter how small
Though your grip is slipping, he will never let you fall
In his own time God will work
He cleanses the sinner and lightens the dark
Though hope seems bleak and doubts are soaring
Joy and peace will come in the morning
Keep the faith, keep the hope, lose the heartache
Wash away guilty feelings for your own sake
God's already forgiven every mistake
And a new person in you God has made
"We are forgiven!" the guilty cry
"Christ is Risen!" and unity is tied
We are one with God the Son
He'll carry us back no matter how far we run
The night is dark, cruel, gloomy, and quiet
But the enemies in my heart are stirring and fighting
I shout out loud for help in Jesus Christ
He comes to my rescue and his love with suffice
Keep the faith, keep the hope, lose the falling tears
God is by you and hears all your consuming fears
He's here right now to hold your broken heart
He'll fulfill all your needs and place the unfixable back apart

Anyway, I tried to say that I feel like He is in fact holding my broken heart. And this is a poem I would have liked to have written myself, but never had the courage. Thank you for entering this poem in my contest and giving me the opportunity to read it.

Whoa, such a well written poem full of GOD's powerful message to us all. All we have to do is accept, open up to HIM and let HIM in. Confess with our mouth, read his WORD and step out in faith. Yes, you have it perfectly set in your poem.
