Bitter love,
you can't move on,
do not want to see the new light,
dwell in the past,
on those thought you hold dear,
but my dear, i fear,
that you are falling.
Look all around and you shall see,
many people wanting to be,
but no we hold on and sink because someone else won,
it's sad and it's juvenile,
and not at all fun.
It takes strength to be happy,
so i suppose you are weak,
confidence is key but you don't find the need.
And I loved you too,but you fell,
your hatred towards me makes me wish I was dead.
Yet I love, and i suppose we are the same,
not willing to give up what we think we have claimed.
Well I have what is mine,
you should find what is yours,
there is no need for hatred,
it just sinks to the core,
festers and bubbles,
and comes out in range,
no one can love someone who hates,
let it go and move on,
it will only do you good,
it takes strength to do it alone,
so suck it up and move on.
He never loved you,
you got in too deep.
He is my life now,
mine to keep.
Time can heal, but it will be faster if you try,
help yourself out,
instead of sitting and crying.
Learn to love you,
and the world will follow,
hate and be bitter,
and you will be stuck in your hallow.
Please tell me what you think

I have been here...
I love the underlying truth. its beautiful. it reminds me of me and my ex, which is not always a good thing. But in this case indeed it was a good thing. My favorite part is where you say "Well I have what is mine, you should find what is yours, there is no need for hatred, it just sinks to the core, festers and bubbles, and comes out in range, no one can love someone who hates, let it go and move on,
it will only do you good,"... i enjoyed this write.
