Griz
The biggest, meanest , and strongest,
is the fearsome Grizzly bear.
It stands alone atop the food chain,
and you’re included there.
If you venture into the wilderness,
be sure you’re well prepared.
And I’ll pass on to you some tips,
I think that should be shared.
Be sure to wear some tinkle bells,
so a bear can get out of your way.
You sure don’t want to startle one,
they can spoil your entire day.
Another thing take a can of Mace,
just incase one gives you trouble.
A black bear can’t stand that stuff,
and will take off on the double.
You can tell which bears are in the area,
if you learn to read the droppings on the trails.
A black bears is full seeds and berries,
Griz poop smells like Mace and has tinkle bells.

This is just out of this world and had me laughing at the end so much. Don't know much about grizzlies but I do know they are at the top like you said. Seen doco's on them. This was truly a masterpiece of humour and and fun and one which was just a delight to read. That last line was a classic! Love how this panned out and the flow was just right. I'm sure glad we don't have them here...any bear for that matter. Do you have them in Texas? Great piece and I wish you the very best in the contest.
