Tangy
bright lemon drops,
butterscotch, pumpkin pie;
visual feast of the harvest
season!

SPLENDID imagery ...
tautly done in cinquain form. Delightful wee verse, m'dear. I enjoy cinquains enormously. My son -- when he was about 6 years old and in 1st grade -- was learning about poetry in school. He honed a cinquain at home and it was ultimately printed in a "book" at school -- that's when I was first hooked on the odd-but-fresh simplicity writing formats such as cinquains demand.
It IS harvest time, now, isn't it? You are, undoubtedly, readying in your kitchen a feast of Thanksgiving delicacies for your family. How fortunate they are, mi amica, to have a loving woman such as you reigning the "clan" from a heart filled with grace and gentleness. You remain a wonder.
Lovely verse ... just mouth-wateringly lovely!

Oh, this is making me look forward to holiday meals we enjoy during the autumn season. A delightful blend of colors and scents, thank you so much for your cinquain.
