Sweet memories
that more than kill
trickling down on my heart.
Lost relationship
maybe it didn't exist
still I cry for what cant be.
Pulling heartstrings
telling me my actions
I seem to have no choice.
I look through a mirror at the reflection
do I like what I see?
I kiss the mirror and turn around
I can leave the memories behind.
Quick smile
I can love myself
and be who I'm meant to be.
No trace
I need no man
to make my life sweet.
There is hope in the sunrise today.
