If thou wilt, I shall write a psalm,
of unadulterated praise.
Nay with an Ode I will retell
thine by-gone glorious days.
Or pray thee that I write a Sonnet
Beautiful, sweet and laze.
Doest thou wilt, I profess my love,
in pros, unveil our escapades?

Nice write. I like it. I couldn't write like this and make sense if my life depended on it but you seem to do well with it. Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest!

Fantastic!
I am flattered that I "inspired" any such poem. And also very confused! This is very well written and doesn't remind me of anything I've ever attempted.
This is a fantastic piece, Nomadic Prince, you have a nice tongue for the olde tongue. It seems natural and unforced in this piece, which is superb, because venturing to write in old English can be dangerous to do skillfully. I like how you reference so many different styles of writing, it ties the theme of the piece together nicely. The link is broken in the AN, so I'm curious as to what it was.
Here, have some clapping heads. Too bad 3's the limit. ~Keys
