The walls started caving in as the earth shook. No one could hear the screams because everyone was gone. Every few seconds the ground rumbled as if it was hungry and waiting for me.
I closed my eyes and pictured us standing in the room just a few minutes ago. Sweet aroma filled the air and we danced. We both wrote our vows on the paper that was just a few feet away from me and your hand was still touching the paper and holding on to the pen.We made a vow until death us part but things changed right after we kissed.
(So much for the sweet hotel luxury room and all of the promises that they made to keep us protected during our stay. I guess happily ever after wasn't meant for me.)
I lingered from mixed emotions.....
My fingers started bleeding and for one moment, I thought I heard you calling me
but it was just the blood dripping
