my the house i call home
the parent figures are fighting
so i stay quiet as i can be
at school people can be so rude
so i'm not welcome there unless i put on this mask
that they hand out
for all the students they want us to fit in
none standing out
but i don wanna fit in
i just want to be me
walkin to the place called home
i find an openin in the trees
so i walk to the openin
i see a light in the distance
i walk forward until i reach the light so beautiful to my eyes
its a pleasant little field
untouched by reality
so i think to myself
is this the place where i can be me
