You Never Truly Cared

Scars on their wrists have mended,
Broken hearts have been repaired.
The past is over and done with,
Cuz you never truly cared.

Hearts are finally working well,
Not left broken on the floor.
Not laying there in pieces,
As left several times before.

At last minds have forgotten,
The misery that was caused,
By a single person in the past,
By what never even was.

So they live on finally healed,
Not thinking of the past,
Completely forgetting about,
All the time that’s passed.

Passed since they ignored the hurt,
And had no pain left to bare,
And the mended scars upon their wrists,
There, cuz you never cared.
