High minarets and domes
of gold and sapphire blue,
top this house of God.
People of all ages and genders
come to pray and learn
of God’s ways and orders.
We come to you Allah,
for you have created us
and we are indebted to You.
We pray to you under
these man-made domes
in Your honour.
We know you are always with us,
every where we go,
what ever we do.
Your mosques are filled
with men and boys of all ages,
from a ten-year-old to an eighty-year-old!
Bless us, Allah!
We pray to You!
Forgive our sins,
for there is none to do so
but You!

Reverant and well written! I could feel the spirituality you feel! Have you ever been to the Great Mosque in Manama, Bahrain? It's awe inspiring. I love the one at the Citidel as well.
