The impossible dream?

What paradise means to me?
A quiet place, tranquillity,
where jealousy is just a word
that somewhere in the past you heard.
and truth can shed the bridle's thrall
of cruel words that maim and maul.
Where man at last has learned to be
the staff that sets his brother free.

Very nicely structured. Rhyme works beautifully. Well chosen title that enhances.
Great imagery..."bridle's thrall.......maim and maul" --very nicely chosen. I like this very much. Thanks for your entry. Best of luck!
