Admiring The Laws of Love

A traveling chill ran through my abdomen
As if I had reached a changing omen.
What shivers can wake the tiniest part of you
And where those pieces are you thought you never knew.
But, love it is the most astonishing thing
Even when you have a brand new, flawless fling.

But even if he is the perfect love now,
I don't see how God could ever allow
My heart to be swept up with such endless joy.
I don't believe that he could ever annoy
My heart, my head, or my free-falling soul.
And my thoughts are swimming slightly out of control.

What is clear when you can only feel true love?
It is as if someone has given you a shove,
And dropped you off with the caring people around.
You and he have together been finally crowned
By Cupid and his silver bow and arrow,
Which does not appear to be any dido.
