Palette Of Tsunamis And Wasted Ambiguity

I was once found peace in your open arms
and carved your story
into the catacomb walls deep in my veins
and became an existing parasite of your silver tongue

But moonlight surrendered
and my tattered soul trembled in agony
my sinews tense, my being aches
while spending  nights grieving
on  bended and bruised knees
questioning the moon about your worth

I damned the river of love
screaming at the sky above
painted it in red, the earth in black
standing naked in hell
burning with fever of pain
I cursed the world and all that it contains
mostly I cursed you and your goddamn reins

That pearly illusions of crimson moon
where your artistic flirtatious verses
of graceful sentiments
now touch monochrome blaze
where tattoo of my foolishness engraved onto heart
wrapping me in its icy arms

And though I'll detest it
I'll continue to sail my open vessel on the high seas
across the wide ocean of confusion
through the deep abyss of hatred and desire
and into the rough tides of unease
where chimeras of twilight reside
under the clouds covered with moss

"I damned the river of love
    screaming at the sky above"

i think this was accidental rhyme but it was very effective. A descriptive poem I must say!
    Great Job

    My Word
What a powerful take on my drawing
The imagery and descriptive vocabulary is breath-taking..pure raw angst explodes from the page...metaphors, metaphors, metaphors..I can depict any particular part of preference..the entire piece is very good..grabs the reader and won't let go..excellent job

thank you for penning a piece for my drawing and giving it such great meaning
    thank you for your entry
wish you the very best in the contest
