Bedsheets

All concerns laid to rest,
As I lay my head,
Upon your chest.

Your hand finds mine,
And grasps it lightly.
"Everything will be fine."

I beleive you, here and now.
I know that's dangerous.
Yet, ...somehow.

I trust you.
Wrapped up in your warmth,
It's hard not to.

Sometimes you feel guilty.
So you hold me closer,
And hope your love's enough to keep me.

So bury that fear."

You say, " I love you."
I feel it echo throughout your body.
I reply, "I love you, too."

We'll drift asleep peacefully.
