I am looking for:-
A place to call my own
Among the grass so tall
Where I can be alone
And yet be free of walls
There I can wander free
Forget all of life's woes
There I can let it be
And learn to take it slow
A place for me to hide
In quiet solitude
When my time I will bide
Till I am in the mood
To face this world again
With a smile on my face
If ever I’m in pain
I’ll return to this place

Ah, a secret hideaway--
in the mind or in nature's keeping--
"with grass so tall."
A oerfect description, Lee,

Hi Aesthete
Yes, a secret place with grass so tall and flowers so colourful with the bees and butterflies hovering around - we can dream, can't we?

I have a place like that. It's the dyke where my sheep graze, in the middle of nowhere, in the midst of nature. Very nice description of Ida's world.

Very nice. I like the way you describe this place with the first stanza. A place to be alone, but without walls. I like that. So free. I have many places like this. You summed them up so well. Thanks for entering.
