Vanilla Flashback

I don't know if we were meant to be
But everytime I see your gazing brown eyes
I feel like throwing a rope to the stars
So I keep on track as I'm rather insecure
Of whether or not I should fall in your guns
And suffer scars

I wish I had gone on a different way
But the dark tunnel didn't attract me enough
When the twilight atmosphere was just one step away

I cut a piece of your dirty brown hair
As we flew beneath the soft gentle ocean air
And I saved it in my jacket pocket
As I don't know what the future holds
But I know whenever tears fill my eye socket
I'll feel secure until the sad cloud unfolds

So many good times we've spent together
And I wish each one of them was forever
As I taste the sky and try to make time rewind
But the birds and the bees look the same behind you
Time suddenly rushes to where it's due
And a sudden colorful breeze travels through my veins
It just happens I'm kissing you
In between the love-hate trains

Author notes

this ain't aimed at anybody specific like my previous ones .... I got my inspiration from Owl City (music band, composed by only 1 guy) because the guy's lyrics are so abstractly awesome (Google-search 1 or 2 and you'll see what i mean), so i tried something a little different from what i use to write, and went from a more direct writing to a more abstract one, which i hope you enjoy ... it took me, literally, about half an hour to come up with something to start with since i'm not used to write poems like this
