Ah, the logic in these words speaks to me.
Though as logical as I am I must insist that God exists.
There's too much in this world that logic can't explain.
It is a subject touched by Socrates and Plato,
Voltaire, Theognis, and Nietzsche in Philosophy.
Morality in business and religion.
It's mankind and the acts of man.
What drives men to act?
Love or lust, amity or avarice...?
You know, in poetry we use metaphors and similes,
alliteration, assonance, and allegory in analogies
to help convey a philosophical point of view.
But I digress and submit that this world's not so godless
for if there is Hope then there is Faith
and if there is Faith then there is Love
and if there is Love then there is God
and He is the Almighty God Who restrains men.
See, that's the tool that I use. It is logic.
It's His logic that presses on my conscious.
He is the Father of all, the First of all Wordsmiths.
And it's His Words that I use as a smithy,
hammering the words that I choose down with logic.
speaking with the heat from a hearth fueled with passion.
The passion of the Words that fills my hearth up with Hope.
Author notes
Bad Bill picks the best contests. (I don't like contests). LOL Started off as a comment on his entry... Had to revisit and see what it was leading me to.
This is your prompt
Hope is the only good god remaining among mankind;
the others have left and gone to Olympus.
Trust, a mighty god has gone, Restraint has gone from men,
and the Graces, my friend, have abandoned the earth.
Men’s judicial oaths are no longer to be trusted, nor does anyone
revere the immortal gods; the race of pious men has perished and
men no longer recognize the rules of conduct or acts of piety.
- 6th-century BC Greek poet Theognis of Megara

This is remarkably ...
apt and remarkably well done (except for the missing "s" on "speak" in line one, which is, no doubt, a typo.
In any case, kudos on a job well done. I'm impressed.

For many years, I have fathomed that ALL is ONE and ONE Is ALL, therefore there is nothing that God has not set forth. There is nothing that God did not ordain, inclusive of good and evil. I do not use the right brain (logical side) as much as I use the left brain (creative side)... But when I do use them both they collide but there is a wonderful combustion in their intwine. LOL
I feel you to the tenth degree my dear. Excellent!
