You can tell me that you're my best friend-
you can hug me tight and tell me that you're there for me...
but what I'd really love to see-

Show me that you are always there-
pick me up when I'm down and let me know that you care.
If you say you defend me, show me the battle wounds,
and if you say that you believe me-
make me, believe you.

You can hold my hand and walk with me-
but will you jump and will you run with me?...
You move your lips, you raise your voice-
but I see you don't use any breath for me...

Why won't you use your breath for me?
If you don't breathe, there's no soul...
if there's no soul, then there's no truth
and without truth this friendship is not whole.

You can tell me that you're my best friend-
you can hold me and tell me that you'll always be there...
You can tell me you'd do anything, everything-
...
So what I need from you-
you will do for me?
