Once upon a time
there was a girl who was a Princess deep down inside.
A diamond in the rough this girl was in her own way tough.
She met a boy a Prince in disguise, he was indeed unlike any other guy she had ever met before.
He was funny, sweet, and charming.
His smile was contagious.
Try as she might the Princess fell in despite of herself.
She tried not to fall in love with him, but her feelings grew with each and every passing day.
They became close friends her feelings she tried to hide from him.
Than one day she finally told him how she felt.
They ended up dating she was so happily in love.
It seemed all too perfect like he was sent from above.
Than one day he seemed to just stop loving her.
He told her goodbye it made her cry.
Her heart broke like glass, the cut was deep a large gash.
She was in so much pain her world felt like it came crashing down.
For days she asked herself why did I deserve this, what happend to our love so true.
At night she would cry herself to sleep, yet she tried to hide her pain from him.
She didn't want him to feel guilty.
She didn't want to be a reason for his tears.
She couldn't stand to see him sad.
So she hide everything from him it was for the best.
This would be her silent test.
For if she did love him like she claimed she knew she would pay the ultimate price.
She let him go for his happiness ment more to her than her own.
She stayed friends with him.
She will always be here until her end.
Pushing him to reach for his dreams.
Catching him when he starts to fall.
Wiping his tears when he cries.
She is still connected to him when he hurts so does she.
A hidden bond is there a rare, valuable treasure tomb.
There is no price that can be placed upon their friendship.
So she still loves him, like she did never stoping.
However now she must love him as only her friend which she will do to her very end.
She will never give up on him, and she will try to help him in each and every day.
She will pray he finds his happiness the one he is ment for and the one that will adore the treasure he is for sure.
This is not a fairy tale ending but reality, life is never a fairy tale.
This is the end of this little tale love can put you under a spell.

Some happily ever afters are just not meant to be. If reality was like a fairytale then everybody would be happy, but unfortunately that is only fantasy. A very sad heartfelt write. I like the title for this contest, when happy endings are b/s lol. good luck

Brillant, and very good. It shows the emotions of one who has loved and loss and yet hasn't really let go of that love. There are some that this is true for and even though it hurts to keep loving them you just can't stop loving that person. Even if they cracked or shattered you heart. (Ummm... don't ask where this came from)
God Bless
Matt.
