You know it's true
No-one knows me better
Than what's known by you
Communication without words
We've shared,,, it's true
On the wings of birds
Delivered from you
Understood, though not verbalized
In-taken, without compromise
The look in your eyes caused me sighs
At that moment I think I realized
I knew
Who knew we had gifts still unknown
Until they came to be shown
Talents, like colors of a brilliant macaw
You never knew I knew how to draw
Now you know
In the hospital I never knew
When I awoke I would see you
None other I know would I have chose
To glimpse before you when consciousness rose
One thing I hope you always know
Is how much you've made and make me grow
Blessed I am, by you alone
You're better than anything I have known
You know,,, you've known, it's easy to see
Let it be known,,, what you mean to me
It's special, you see, you and me
I thank God through prayer daily for your company
You know what I know, you know it's true
Life's better known when known with you
Friendship is love caught on fire,,, a fire with a quickly distinguished flame
With you I'd like to re-spark this fire,,, and the desire with which it came
I'd like to someday hold hands with you
Looking back to see how much we grew
I hope you feel the same-way too
and think,,,
Who would've known? (we always knew)

this write is for a contest by ASHONYMOUS asking for words to help convey her hopes of making a FRIEND into her BOYFRIEND,,,, she told me a lil bit about her love for him and her hopes with him,,,, as well as a few things that mean something to them both,,, It is difficult to write a LOVE poem for other individuals,,,, my ONLY hopes are,,, that this poetry does their love JUSTICE,,, good luck ASHONYMOUS,,, god bless you both
