Something my friend helped me write...
Our place was a bedlam,
a pandemonium I could not escape.
No one would commiserate, so I drank & I smoked, and I waited.
Specters moved around, your visceral ways rotting away...
For days we would lay, high on life and full of strife that longed to be calm.
We had a stratagem-
catch the stars in our hands;
band together,
wrap around each other and forget forever.
Then, my cataclysm of life came for me.
I am amazing now...
& never will you be my everything.
Was it I that brought your fate?
Hatred for you overcame,
& so your death proclaimed.
I live with it everyday...
The height of your life hadn't even begun.
I wish you could have seen the light.

Excellent write! I was amazed at the word choice and think that as a collaboration, this was well done. I am glad I have read this, and hope others do in the future. Excellent write and thank you for sharing!
