Long Way Down

I see the way you laugh,
The way you smile,
The way you hold her in your arms,
But nothing hurts worse then he leaving you forever.

I told you it would end this way,
You just couldn't listen to me,
I don't know why you trusted her,
You heard all the stories,
Even before you were a couple,
Too bad that i'm taken.

So far down,
Now away from the sun,
Long way down,
You'll need help to make it out alive,
Now unclear,
Too bad your self esteem can't lift you up.

Now here in my arms,
You can't help but smile,
I have made you happy,
No longer long way down,
You're gonna make it with my help.

    wow, nice piece. It reminds me of the reason I wrote "What is Love?" It was written for a friend of mine who was in a bad relationship. I could never figure out why people seem so blind in their relationships... CRAZY!!!
