So many days have passed me by
So many months have come and gone
The years have faded
and time keeps moving on
The seasons change
the flowers start to bloom
then die away
the leaves begin to fall
and winter moves in
children grow up
and some people pass away
life goes on
whether you're ready or not
everything changes
and nothing remains the same.
Love continues to grow
hate continues to build
wars still go on
and world peace is still just a fantasy
I can promise though
that even if the world ended today
the only constant
would be that my love for you will never die away
